View trading history in MetaTrader 

Whether you need to review your trades or generate reports for personal records, MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 provide an easy way to access and save your account history. 

To download your trading Account history, follow these steps:  

1. Log in to MetaTrader 4 (MT4). Open your MT4 platform and ensure you are successfully logged into your trading account. You can check the connection status in the bottom right corner in MetaTrader. 
2. Open the Terminal Window. Navigate to the "Tools" window (if you are using MetaTrader 4, it is called "Terminal"). You can quickly open it by pressing Ctrl+T on your keyboard. 
3. Access the Account History Tab. At the bottom of the "Terminal" window, locate and click on the "History" tab (it is named "Account History" in MT4). This will display a list of all your recent trades and transactions. 
4. Select the Dates Range. To view history for a specific period, right-click within the "Account History" tab. You will see an option to choose custom dates. Set the desired start and end dates to filter the history according to your needs. The history tab will update to show all trades you made within the selected period. 
5. Save Your Trade History. If you need to keep a record of your trade history, right-click within the "History" > "Report" >. You can download the report to your Computer as an Excel or HTML file.  Choose a location on your computer and click "Save." 

The HTML file can easily be viewed in your browser.
