How can I log into my trading platform on PC?

To log into the trading platform MT4 or MT5 on your PC/laptop, follow these steps: 

  1. Open MetaTrader on your computer. 
  2. In the top bar menu, click ‘File' > ‘Login to Trade account'. 
  3. Enter your trading account number and password, select the appropriate server, and click ‘Login’. 

If you have logged in successfully, you'll see connection speed and a green-blue connection status icon in the bottom right corner. Also, your account balance will be shown in the 'Trade' tab.

If you have not logged in successfully, there should be an error message appearing in the bottom right corner at the connection status icon. Alternatively, you can check the error message in the 'Journal' tab, as shown below.
