Trading is risky. Your capital is at risk.

We’re excited to introduce ETF CFD trading, expanding our range of tradable instruments to include some of the most popular Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs). Alpari clients using MT5 will now have access to 43 ETF CFDs, covering major markets, industries, and investment themes.

What Is ETF CFDs?

An Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) is a basket of securities that trades on an exchange like a stock. ETF prices fluctuate throughout the day, offering investors exposure to a diversified portfolio of assets without having to buy individual stocks or bonds.

When trading ETF Contracts for Difference (CFDs), you do not own the ETF itself or its underlying assets. Instead, you speculate on the price movements on the ETF’s price movements without dealing with custody, management fees, or holding the physical asset.

Why Trade ETF CFDs?

  • Diversification – ETFs provide exposure to a broad range of stocks, reducing risk by spreading investments across multiple companies and industries.
  • Invest in Key Themes – Whether you’re interested in technology, energy, emerging markets, or even specific country economies, ETFs allow you to focus on key sectors or market trends.
  • Liquidity & Flexibility – ETFs trade like stocks, meaning you can buy and sell throughout the trading day. This makes them more liquid than mutual funds, which only trade at market close.
  • Hedging Opportunities – ETF CFDs offer a way to hedge existing investments. If you expect a short-term market decline but want to keep your long-term ETF positions, ETF CFDs can help manage that risk.

Who Can Trade ETF CFDs?

ETF CFDs are available to clients using MT5 on Standard and Pro ECN accounts.

Which ETFs Can I Trade?
