Can I withdraw if I have open positions? 

You can withdraw at any time, even if you have open positions, provided you're not withdrawing an amount that is required for your trading and 'free margin. The free margin amount is constantly 'floating' since it reflects the floating profit or loss on your open positions. 

Free Margin = Equity - Used Margin. 

You can withdraw any amount up to your Free Margin. However, keep in mind that withdrawing funds will reduce your equity, and if you have open positions, it could affect your margin and potentially lead to a Margin Call or Stop Out if your free margin becomes too low. 

You can see your free margin by logging into your Alpari account or in your MT4/MT5 terminal. 

Check the Free margin in the Alpari account 

• Log in to your Alpari account. 
• On your home page, you will see an overview of your accounts and you will be able to see your free margin. 

Check the Free margin MT4/MT5 Terminal 

You will be able to see the free margin on your account in your MT4 / MT5 terminal. 

• Launch MT4 or MT5 on your computer 
• Make sure to enable Terminal (View > Terminal (MT4) and Toolbar (MT5) or CTRL + T) 
• Open the Trade tab
